“Lebanese Forces” chief, Samir Geagea stressed on Friday that “nothing will rescue us at this stage except the Lebanese solidarity”.
Samir Geagea was surprised that such a huge incident, (the twin blasts in Bourj Brajneh) has not pushed the Lebanese government to convene.
“The Cabinet is responsible for the citizens’ affairs and it should convene to discuss measures to protect the people after yesterday’s explosions,” he asserted during an LF ceremony in Zghorta.
Samir Geagea confirmed that the rise of a strong state requires state institutions, topped by the presidency.
“The boycotters must attend the electoral session the same as they attended the legislative session, and elect a president to later form a new government,” he said.
Samir Geagea described the achievement at the legislative session as “a victory to everyone”, hoping to achieve all the proposed issues, particularly the electoral law.
